Polio-Free World is our aim — and our dream. Rotary International initiated the global movement to eradicate polio, and we, as proud Rotarians, continue to carry that torch of hope and service. ✨ On 24th October, the Rotary Club of Silchar observed World Polio Day by actively participating in a Polio Awareness Rally, jointly organized with the three Rotary Clubs of Zone XV, Silchar. The rally was graced by the presence of Assistant Governor (Zone XV) Rtn. Biswajit Banik, Secretary Rtn. Dr. D.J. Nath, and members of Rotary Club of Silchar, Rotary Club of Greenland Silchar, and Rotary Club of Greater Silchar. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ The rally began from Tarapur India Club Point, Silchar, with participants carrying “End Polio” banners and placards, spreading awareness about the importance of vaccination and global eradication efforts. The event was well covered by both print and electronic media, amplifying Rotary’s message of service, unity, and hope for a healthier world. 💙
