As part of World Breastfeeding Week 2025, a meaningful Awareness Program was held at Salganga, organized by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Barak Valley Chapter in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Silchar, Vivekananda Mandal – Salganga, Jeevan Jyoti Hospital, and Narisiksha Hospital. With around 250 attendees, the event aimed to educate and empower the community on the significance of breastfeeding for both mother and child.
