The prestigious district-level seminar “SNEHABANDHAN (স্নেহবন্ধন) – District Seminar on Maternal & Child Health” under RID 3240 was formally inaugurated on 23rd May 2026 at Silchar, hosted by the Rotary Club of Silchar. The seminar aims to promote awareness, knowledge-sharing, and collaborative action for improving maternal and child healthcare. Eminent pediatricians, gynecologists, healthcare professionals, Rotarians, policymakers, and social leaders from across Eastern India participated in the event. The seminar is being organized in association with the Indian Academy of Pediatrics Barak Valley Chapter, Indian Medical Association Cachar Branch, and the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India Cachar Branch.
