The Rotary Club of Silchar, in association with the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Barak Valley Chapter and SAKSHAM NGO, observed World Down Syndrome Day on 21st March 2026 with a meaningful awareness and health program. 🩺 Free TSH & Hemoglobin tests and medical check-ups were conducted for all children by eminent pediatricians. 🎤 Experts including Dr. Anjan Paul, Dr. D. J. Nath, Dr. Pinaki Chakraborty, Dr. Janet Fahreim and others shared insights on care, challenges, diagnosis, and empowerment. 💬 Parents shared inspiring journeys, making the session deeply impactful. 🤝 Special initiatives like weekly play support and “Rotary Divyang Happy Time” were announced. 🎁 Fruits, toys, and study materials were distributed; refreshments served to all. A day dedicated to awareness, inclusion, and celebrating abilities beyond limitations. ✨
