The Rotary Club of Silchar successfully organised the Rotary Walkathon on 23rd February 2026 to mark Rotary Foundation Day and World Peace & Understanding Day. A total of 279 walkers, including 65 women participants, covered 7.5 km, promoting fitness, peace, and community bonding. The event was graced by Chief Guest Col. Sonal Jain, CO 2 MGAR, and Guest of Honour Mr. Gautam Naug, Manager, Land Port Department, Govt. of India, who appreciated Rotary’s efforts in health awareness and social responsibility. 🏆 Men’s Category: 1st – Haihungbe Newme 2nd – Ahad Uddin Choudhury 3rd – H.
