The Rotary Club of Silchar observed National Deworming Day in an impactful manner across different clinics in Silchar, spreading awareness on child health and preventive care. Veteran pediatrician Rtn. Dr. Anjan Paul, along with eminent pediatricians Dr. Priyanka Deb and Dr. D. J. Nath, counselled parents and children on the importance of routine deworming twice a year—especially during February and August. They also emphasized maintaining proper hygiene and safe eating habits to ensure overall well-being. The innovative awareness initiative was actively coordinated by Rtn. Dilraz Ahmed Laskar, with dedicated support from Mr. Bijon, staff member of RC Silchar. A meaningful step towards building a healthier future for our children. 💙
